This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter, and no database, which makes most of a privacy policy unnecessary. What remains is written out below.
What this site collects
- No account is created and none can be. There is nothing to sign up for.
- No form on this site submits anywhere. The two calculators run entirely in your browser and send nothing.
- Nothing is written to local storage or session storage. Selections in the calculators disappear the moment the page is closed, by design.
- No advertising network is embedded in these pages and no tracking pixel is placed here by this site.
Hosting and server logs
Like any site on the public internet, the host that serves these pages records ordinary request information: an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, and the user agent string your browser sends. That is a function of how the web works rather than a decision made here, and the records are used for keeping the site running and nothing else.
Images and links to other sites
Product images on this site are served from Amazon’s image host, which means your browser makes a request to that host when a product page loads. Product links lead to Amazon and are affiliate links. Once you follow any external link, that destination applies its own privacy practices, and this site has no visibility into or control over them.
External references on this site link to public agency and standards organization pages. Those are informational and are not affiliate links.
